If you are interested in adoption specifically, there is also a group created for that you may be interested in as well: https://www.orthodox.church/adoption/
Adoption can be an incredible thing. But so is helping families in need re-unite and strengthen by being a foster parent or supporting these families. This even ends in adoption in some cases. I've created a group for Foster Care Information and Support that people interested in adoption may also be interested in! https://www.orthodox.church/fostercare

Welcome! I'm so glad that you are here. I'm the adoptive mother of two, biological mother of three, and soon-to-be stepmother of three. Whew! That's a lot of kids and a lot of juggling and let's be honest....a lot of potential problems.
I have walked dozens of people through the adoption process from start to finish. I'm passionate about finding the right fit for everyone.
The Lord does not call everyone to adoption, but He does call all of us to care for widows and orphans. For some of us, that means bringing home children and making them our own. Even that has about a million different nuances and choices.
So, let's dig in. Let's find out where you fit into God's plan for the orphan!
